Peggy Ovire Hints Divorce From Frederick Leonard Finalized
Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has set tongues wagging after suggesting that her divorce from estranged husband Frederick Leonard is now complete.
The actress took to her Instagram Story to thank God, posting a short note that many fans read as confirmation that the legal battle was over.
“Thank you, Jesus. It is done,” she wrote.

Peggy also reshared a congratulatory post from colleague Angela Eguavoen, which read, “My queen is free!! Hallelujah.”
The update comes months after Peggy publicly accused Frederick of cheating with a married woman and mother. She also claimed he kept stalling the divorce by skipping court dates after being served.
At the time, she shared a video of Frederick with the alleged lover at a public event and urged him not to miss the next customary court hearing.
Earlier this year, Frederick seemed to signal a fresh start while marking his birthday, saying he had found a happier version of himself.
Around the same time, Peggy posted a cryptic message saying she had chosen herself, a post many believed was aimed at the actor.
The duo tied the knot in a lavish traditional ceremony in Asaba, Delta State, on November 19, 2022.
As of the time of filing this report, neither Peggy Ovire nor Frederick Leonard has shared further details about the divorce beyond their social media updates.
