Popular Lagos Prophet, Chris Okafor Announces Date For Late Father’s Burial
The Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor, has announced the burial rites for his late father, Pa Stephen Okafor, who passed on in September 2026.
Announcing the burial date after the Divine Intervention and Breakthrough Sunday Service at the International Headquarters of Grace Nation Global in Lagos, the renowned prophet said his father’s burial ceremony is a celebration of life, as his dad died at the ripe age of 105 years.
The family of Pa Stephen Okafor needs your prayers at this moment. We are happy that our daddy lived a very long and fulfilled life as a committed Christian. He led us into the path of righteousness and we believe he is resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Dr. Okafor said.

He therefore invited all and sundry — friends, well-wishers, spiritual sons and daughters, and members of Grace Nation Global — to join him, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to give his late father a befitting burial at his country home, Ihite, Orumba North, Anambra State.
According to the burial arrangement, the ceremony will be held on January 6-7 2027, at Ihite, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Dr. Okafor therefore described his late father as a disciplinarian, a man of integrity, and a devout Christian whose life and legacy continue to inspire many.
