“Real Men Never Cry For Women,” says Yul Edochie
Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised men to avoid crying over women, describing the act as “mumu” and “abomination”.
This statement was disclosed via his official X handle (formally twitter), urging his followers to join him where he teaches “how to be real men”.
The statement added that, “A real man never cries because of a woman. Never! If your woman leaves you, wish her well and focus on yourself. Focus on becoming the best & greatest version of yourself.”
Yul argued that self-development is the key to attracting women, adding that “the moment you achieve that, countless beautiful women will flock to you.”
He further warned that men who cry over a breakup only confirm to women that they are “losers”, stressing that “women hate losers.”
Meanwhile the post has since generated mixed reactions online, with some users agreeing with his take on masculinity and self-improvement, while others criticized it as insensitive and unrealistic about emotions.
