Sanwo-Olu Hails Hamzat’s 2027 APC Governorship Ticket

Ahead of the 2027 elections, Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated his deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate for Lagos State.
This was disclosed in his congratulatory message posted on his official X handle, shortly after the announcement.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described Hamzat as a trusted partner in governance, noting that they have worked side by side for years in the affairs of the Lagos state.

Speaking further, he opined that, his close collaboration with the deputy governor has given him firsthand insight into Hamzat’s commitment and dedication to the people of Lagos.
“The work ahead is massive, but with Femi, I am absolutely confident that our state will reach even greater heights,” the governor emphasized.
He therefore pleaded by advising Lagosians to rally behind the APC ticket and sustain the momentum of development in the state, while expressing optimism that with Hamzat, Lagos would continue on its path of more economic growth and innovation.
“Let us stay united and keep moving Lagos forward,” the governor concluded, while also reiterating his administration’s focus on building a stronger and more prosperous state for all Lagosians.
