“It Is Draining Me” — Super Falcons Star Asisat Oshoala Opens Up On Troubled Relationship

Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has spoken out about her personal struggles, saying a troubled relationship has left her emotionally exhausted.

In a post on the social media, the striker said she no longer has the energy to keep going and believes she deserves better.

“It is draining me, I don’t have the energy to carry on again. I am just a girl who thinks she deserves better,” she wrote.

Though, Oshoala did not mention any names, but her message sparked concern and support from fans and fellow athletes across social media.

“N*ggas want the whole world to stop for u without even showing up when needed and still have the effrontery to argue sh*t with you. Nigga d door is fuckin open just as you said. F*ck it !!!, she wrote.

“As per who I b…….i am just a girl who thinks she deserves better and not asking for too much. To h*ll with everything this time mehn,” she added.

The 6-time African Women’s Player of the Year has been one of Nigeria’s most prominent sports figures, leading the Super Falcons attack at multiple World Cups and winning titles in Europe, China, and the US.

Meanwhile, many fans have since flooded her comments with words of encouragement, urging her to prioritize her mental health and well-being.

As of press time, Oshoala has not shared further details about the relationship.
