‎ Tems Rules Out Dating Nigerian Celebs, Sees Them as ‘Brothers’

Grammy winner Tems has revealed that she would not date Nigerian male celebrities.

When asked at the BET Awards if she’d “shoot her shot” at Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, Tems said she doesn’t know him personally and wouldn’t even if she did.

“We don’t do that over here,” she said. “I know who Maduka Okoye is but I don’t know him personally. I wish I did though.”

Tems added that being Nigerian makes romance difficult because she views fellow Nigerian celebrities as “brothers.”
