Three Die As Govt Confirms Cholera Outbreak In Abia Community

The Abia State Government has confirmed the outbreak of cholera in Amaogwugwu in Umuahia North Local Government Area on Monday.

Three people have died. Many, including an eight-month-old baby are still hospitalised.

The state commissioner for health, Dr. Joe Osuji, said that his ministry is monitoring the situation and has sent officials and drugs to the community for the affected persons.
