Everything in life has its time and season. The parlance that ‘nothing lasts forever’ can best describe the current status of Jimoh Ibrahim in the social circle. Once upon a time, he was a heavyweight socialite and business man. In those days, no high octane event would be complete without his presence, but today, the philanthropist is keeping a rather low profile.
Some years ago, Ibrahim’s businesses were the talk of the town –from Global Fleet Group; a diversified conglomerate with business interests and subsidiaries in neighbouring West African countries to other investments like oil & gas distribution, hotels, resorts, airlines, banking, real estate, insurance, publishing and investments.
Jimoh Ibrahim’s disappearance from the social scene may not be unconnected to the crumble in his business empire. Many of his business investments have gone down the drain, and it is only logical for him to keep a low profile.
