Why I Am Struggling To Find Wife – Mayorkun
Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, has opened up on his struggle to find a suitable woman to marry.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Uncut podcast, the music star said he shared his marital concerns with his elder brother, who gave him a striking piece of advice.
According to Mayorkun, his brother asked him when last he approached a woman in broad daylight, suggesting that his lifestyle may be affecting his search for a life partner.
The singer said he agreed with the advice, noting that a responsible woman should not be outside late at night.
He said, “I told my big bro I have been struggling to find the right woman to marry, and he asked me a simple question: ‘When was the last time you spoke to a girl in broad daylight?’ You can’t be a responsible girl and still be outside by 1 a.m.”
Mayorkun also recounted a past dating experience where a lady claimed she did not know him or his songs, but later sang one of his old hits word-for-word when it played on the radio during their second date.
He therefore opined that pretence and fake lifestyles have made it difficult to find a genuine life partner.
