2019: Nigeria Customs Surpasses Annual Revenue Target

The Apapa Command of the Nigeria Custom Service has in the year 2019 surpassed its annual revenue target by N41 billion.

The Command has collected the total sum of N413,732,818,554.19 as revenue  for the year and this is above the projected target of N372 billion.

The CAC of the Command, Mohammed Abba-Kura at a press briefing also stated that the anti-smuggling operation of the Command seized various items with a duty paid value of N12.8 billion and also recorded a high compliance in the area of export with exported goods with FOB value of N40,610,070,114.55 under the period. 

CAC Abba-Kura therefore made a passionate appeal to the importers of pharmaceutical products to respect and follow the guidelines on the importation of these products.  -Dedeigbo Ayodeji
