’Your Tithe Alone Can Never Make You Wealthy’— Prophet Genesis
...Prophet Genesis Breaks Down the Real Key to Success
In a powerful and thought-provoking sermon, the televangelist and spiritual leader, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe known as Genesis has sparked a major conversation about the true relationship between faith, financial giving, and hard work.
The dynamic minister addressed a common misconception among believers, urging them to develop a practical understanding of how real wealth is built rather than relying solely on tithes and offerings.
Prayer and Offerings Without Work Lead to Frustration
Addressing the Genesis Global congregation, Prophet Genesis delivered a blunt truth; giving offerings alone will not rescue anyone from hardship, nor will spending endless hours in prayer without action bring success.

”Your offering cannot bring you out of suffering, and spending all your hours in prayer without productive action will only leave you frustrated and empty-handed,” the prophet cautioned.
He emphasized that while prayer and spiritual devotion are vital, they were never designed to replace strategic effort, knowledge, and execution.
It remains a mystery why many Christians, despite having access to the Scriptures, fall prey to misleading doctrines that demand they empty their pockets into church accounts in pursuit of overnight miracles.
Prophet Genesis the shepherd in charge of Genesis Global Alakuko Lagos pointed out that a lack of biblical knowledge and practical wisdom leaves many vulnerable to exploitation often keeping them trapped in a cycle of poverty.
Faith is not a substitute for critical thinking. Believers must use wisdom and guard against emotional manipulation.
The core message is straightforward: your tithe and offering will not magically make you rich only with legitimate, diligent hard work combined with wisdom will.
Thinking you can use money to influence or “bribe” God into changing His principles is a dangerous delusion. Divine principles are fixed as God blesses the work of your hands, not your idleness.
It is time for believers to wake up, apply sound judgment, and pair their spiritual lives with meaningful, value-creating work.
Be mindful of the danger of Spiritual Blindness.
