Tolanibaj Cries Out Over Stolen DJ Equipment
Popular DJ, entrepreneur and former BBNaija housemate Tolanibaj has shared an emotional account of how a former staff member allegedly stole DJ equipment worth millions of naira from her academy.
The media personality said she hired Precious Akiyemi Deborah as an executive assistant in April and later gave her over ₦6 million to buy four DJ controllers for the academy.
According to her, weeks after the purchase she noticed that three of the controllers were missing. When confronted, Precious allegedly said she took them home because they were faulty.

“I fired her and sent my team to get the equipment back, but when they got to her house, nobody was there,” Tolanibaj recounted tearfully.
Speaking further, she alleged that investigations showed Precious tried to sell the controllers and even reached out to another DJ to rent similar gear.
The case was reported to the police, which led to the arrest of two people said to have bought the equipment. One of the stolen controllers has since been recovered, while Precious is reportedly on the run.
“She is currently wanted by the police. If anyone knows where she is, please reach out to me,” she pleaded.
Visibly distraught during the interview, Tolanibaj used the moment to advise other business owners, urging them to build stronger internal controls to safeguard their assets.
“Put structures in place and hold people accountable. Don’t let what happened to me happen to you,” she said.
