Abiodun, Seyi Tinubu Storm Ojude Oba Festival In Ijebu-Ode
Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, were present at the 2026 Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu-Ode today.
The festival was marked by vibrant traditional attire and cultural pageantry as participants entered the arena in flowing agbadas, intricately tied geles, and elaborate beaded accessories, showcasing Ijebu heritage.
The festival is held annually on the third day after Eid-el-Kabir, gathering thousands of attendees.

“The festival draws guests including politicians, celebrities, and members of the Nigerian diaspora, all celebrating Ijebu culture and identity,” organizers noted.
This year’s edition holds special significance as it is the first since the passing of Oba Sikiru Adetona in July 2025.
The late monarch reigned as Awujale of Ijebuland for 65 years. His legacy, organizers said, continues to shape the festival’s spirit of unity and cultural pride.
With dignitaries in attendance and colorful parades filling the grounds, this year’s Ojude Oba reiterates its status as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated cultural festivals.
