Angela Okorie Burns Burial Outfit, Cites Superstition
Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has revealed why she burned the outfit she wore to the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo.
The actress shared the reason on her official Instagram page, explaining it was based on advice from her godmother.
“This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My Godmother said it is not good to have the cloth you wore to a burial around you; you burn them. So family and friends take note. I felt I should share this information,” she stated.

According to Okorie, the practice is rooted in the belief that clothes worn to burials carry bad energy and should be destroyed.
“May the Lord keep and bless us with long life. Amen. Chai,” she added.
Meanwhile, the late Alex Ekubo was buried recently, with several Nollywood stars in attendance to pay their last respects.
