Blaqbonez Calls Music Industry Wicked
Popular Nigerian Rapper Emeka Akumefule, known as Blaqbonez, has criticized the music industry for what he calls widespread double standards and a lack of support among artists.
This was disclosed in a post shared via his official account on X (formally twitter), the “Chanel” crooner said he often promotes his colleagues’ new songs on his social media pages, despite doing this regularly, he claimed many of them ignore him when he needs the same backing.
Blaqbonez pointed out that none of his peers shared his latest single since its release, noting that he has recently promoted tracks from Drake, Central Cee, Future, and Gunna, but received silence when he dropped, describing it as the biggest song of the summer.

The rapper expressed frustration over the lack of reciprocity, calling it unfair treatment within the industry, stressing that the situation shows how excessive egos often override collaboration and mutual support.
“I think this industry is very wicked because since I dropped Chanel, none of my peers have posted it,” he lamented.
