Boy Jilted by Lover Commits Suicide

Kehinde Muse, a resident of 56 Modele Street, Surulere, has committed suicide after he was jilted by his girlfriend, Rasheedat Damilola Animashaun.

The deceased aged 25 was said to have locked himself in his room and drank a poisonous substance known as sniper.

He was rushed to hospital but died on arrival. Preliminary investigation by the police revealed that the Kehinde earlier sent a suicide text message to his estranged girlfriend, Rasheedat.

With the text message, the deceased informed his lover that he will take his own life since she decided to quit the relationship. 

Rasheedat promptly informed his family about the text message he sent to her and they rushed to his house, broke the door and found him unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital but could not survive.

His corpse has been deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.  Story by DEDEIGBO AYODEJI
