DJ Cuppy Wants To Quit Social Media
Popular Nigerian disc jockey and entrepreneur, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her desire to take a break from social media.
The entertainer shared her thoughts in a series of posts on her X handle (formally twitter), where she joked about abandoning her online presence for a quiet life in the countryside.
“Sometimes I want to delete my Twitter, run away, move to a tiny village in the countryside, get 3 goats and go into hiding until Jesus returns to pick me up,” she stated.

In another post, Cuppy reiterated her craving for a simple life away from the spotlight.
“Just still thinking about deleting social media, moving to the countryside, and buying 3 goats. Nothing major,” she added.
Cuppy, known for her free-spirited personality, has never shied away from sharing different sides of her life with fans.
Beyond her music and DJ career, she has often used her platforms to speak candidly about her relationships, faith, career setbacks, and the pressures of living in the public eye.
In January 2026, she announced a temporary break from social media, saying she needed time to reconnect with herself and God, describing it as a much needed reset after a difficult period.
While she is also known for her affection for her dogs, Dundun and Funfun, who often feature on her pages, her latest posts suggest she now craves something even quieter – a life away from the noise, with three goats for company.
