Breaking: UNILAG Closes Hostels Indefinitely

Authorities of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, has announced the closure of all student hostels starting from 12noon tomorrow.

The announcement was made shortly after a management meeting held at the institution on Wednesday afternoon.

Students are expected to observe their lectures online henceforth.

The directive is in adherence to the third wave of Covid19, which Lagos State government is already taking proactive measures against.

A female student of the institution was suspected to have contracted Covid19 on the campus on Tuesday.
