Davido Associate Ego Dies After Penis Enlargement Surgery
Popular Davido associate Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, better known as Ego, has died after complications from a penis enlargement procedure in Thailand.
The 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and influencer underwent the procedure in March 2026 at an unnamed clinic while on a luxury vacation in Bangkok with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.
According to testimony at the Inner West London Coroner’s Court reported by TMZ, Ego had 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis.
After the procedure, he was staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok when he began having chest pains and reportedly fainted twice before being rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital.
Danielle told doctors about the filler injections, but Ego lost consciousness before he could get a recommended CT scan.
He was moved to intensive care after doctors diagnosed a pulmonary embolism a blood vessel blockage in the lungs.
Medics performed CPR for over 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6.
A postmortem done in the UK found cellular material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used in the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin ruled that Ego died from a pulmonary embolism linked to the cosmetic surgery.
It was gathered that Ego was known for flaunting his lavish lifestyle on Instagram. He was later buried in London in a gold coffin said to have cost over $745,000.
Speaking at the funeral, Davido said the loss “don’t feel real” and described it as “heavy.”
