Ex convict Arrested for Armed Robbery, Cultism

Folarin Moses (23), an ex-convict and member of the Aiye cult group, has been arrested by detectives from Bariga Police Division after robbing one Olayemi Agbamuche of his red Bajaj motorcycle at Abeokuta Street, Bariga.

Folarin and four members of his gang, who are now at large, were armed with axe and sword when they robbed Olayemi.

The suspect confessed that he commited the crime. He also admitted to be a member of Aiye Confraternity.

He was released from prison recently after serving a jail term for similar offence.

Effort is currently being made to arrest his other accomplices and to recover the stolen motor cycle. -Dedeigbo Ayodeji
