Fame Is Dangerous, I Just Want To Be Rich – Barry Jhay
Prominent Nigerian singer Barry Jhay has opened up about the dark side of fame, saying he would rather be wealthy than famous if given another chance at life.
The ‘Aiye’ crooner made the revelation in a recent interactive session, where he lamented the pressures and challenges that come with being in the spotlight.
According to him, fame comes with a heavy price that many people do not see beyond the glitz and glamour.

“Fame is dangerous. In my next life, I don’t want to have a talent or be famous, I just want to be rich,” he noted.
Barry Jhay further revealed that although he was born into privilege as a ‘Nepo baby’, life took a different turn after losing his father and everything he had, forcing him to hustle hard like a ‘Lapo baby’.
“I was born a Nepo baby, but after losing my dad and everything, I am hustling like a Lapo baby,” he added.
