Friends Football All-Stars’ Novelty Match Ends In Draw

A novelty match between Friends Football All-Stars and their Lambe All-Stars counterpart has ended in a draw. 

The highly competitive match was organized to mark the official unveiling of Friends Football All-Stars, a team that was formed by football enthusiasts and like-minds. 

Played at the Akinbo Odu Baale Playing Ground, Akute, Ogun State, the match ended with a 2-2 score line, after both sides battled in vain to break the deadlock at half-time.

The deadlock was however broken in the second half with superb strikes from the home side’s Pekas and Yomi. The visiting Lambe All-Stars also proved their mettle as a worthy opponent by replying the goals apiece. 

It was indeed a four-goal thriller that kept every spectator at the edge of their seats for 90 minutes. The fans can’t help but ask for more. 

The match was a display of spectacular talent, skills, stamina, strength, and professionalism, as both sides conducted themselves in a commendable manner.
