Grace Nation: ‘Words Are the Most Powerful Tools God Gave to Man’ – Dr. Chris Okafor

The Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor, has declared that words are the most powerful tools God gave to man, stressing that a believer’s destiny is shaped by what comes out of their mouth.

The Generational Prophet made this declaration during Sunday service at the international headquarters of Grace Nation Worldwide in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos, while teaching on _“Laws and Order of a Proper Speech.”_ The service drew members, partners, and first-time worshippers who came to seek God’s face.

Teaching with scriptural depth, The Generational Prophet Dr Chris Okafor explained that God created the universe by the power of His word, and that same creative power has been deposited in man. He noted that until a believer learns the laws that govern speech, they will struggle to see God’s promises manifest.

“Words are the most powerful tools God gave to man,” he said. “In your mouth lies the power of manifestation. What you say is what you will see. God spoke and things came to be. As His children, you also create your world by your words.”

The Lagos-based clergyman emphasized that proper speech is not random. It is governed by divine laws and order. He urged believers to align their confessions with the word of God, warning that negative speech gives the devil legal ground to operate.

“When you speak God’s word over your situation, heaven backs it up,” Dr. Okafor taught. “But when you speak fear, defeat, and impossibility, you empower the enemy. Your mouth is the doorway to your miracle. Watch what comes out of it.”

He further explained that words can build or destroy, heal or wound, and attract blessings or curses. According to him, a proper confession will always produce a proper possession.

“Speak life to your business. Speak health to your body. Speak progress to your family. The word you speak today is the testimony you will share tomorrow,” he charged.

Supernatural Healing: Boy Raised from Coma with Life support Machine

The service took a dramatic turn when a little boy below the age of 7, who had been in a coma for 3 months under a life support system, was brought to church by his parents to testify to God’s healing power.

The parents narrated that the child’s condition had deteriorated and doctors placed him on life support with little hope of recovery. In desperation, they contacted the Generational Prophet for prayer intervention.

The Generational Prophet Dr  Chris Okafor, while ministering over the phone, prayed for the boy and gave specific instructions to the parents to use spiritual materials on the child. The parents obeyed, and within a short time, the boy who was on life support began to respond. He was later discharged from the hospital, fully restored.

On Sunday, 12th July 2026 the joyful parents brought the boy to the church to give glory to God. The congregation stood in awe as the child walked to the altar with his parents, a living proof of God’s miracle-working power.

“God is still in the business of healing,” Dr. Okafor declared as he prayed for the boy and his family. “No case is too hard for God. When you speak the word and act in faith, God will show up. This boy will live long and fulfill his destiny.”

The man of God decreed total restoration, divine health, and protection upon the child, and prayed that the testimony would announce God’s glory to the world.

A Call to Guard Your Speech

Dr. Okafor used the testimony to reinforce his message on the power of words. He said faith without right confession is incomplete, and that believers must learn to speak what they want to see, not what they are going through.

“Your words are seeds. What you plant with your mouth is what you will harvest in your life,” he said. “Stop speaking the problem. Start speaking the solution. Stop declaring lack. Start declaring abundance. That is the law of proper speech.”

He led the church in a prophetic prayer session, decreeing open doors, financial breakthroughs, healing, and marital fruitfulness upon members. He also prayed for Grace Nation partners, asking God to reward their labour of love with testimonies.

The service ended with worship, thanksgiving, and more testimonies from members who shared how God turned their situations around through the word and prayer.

Dr. Okafor concluded by urging believers to be intentional about their speech in the second half of 2026. He said those who master the laws of proper speech will walk in consistent victory, fruitfulness, and divine manifestation.
