Peller Slams Fans For Abandoning DJ Chicken
Content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has reacted to the remand of fellow TikTok star DJ Chicken, accusing his supporters of abandoning him.
In a viral video, Peller said he accompanied DJ Chicken, born Ademola Abiodun, to Kirikiri Correctional Centre after his court appearance in Ogba, Lagos.
“I was there when DJ Chicken was sent to Kirikiri prison. He was humble. All his fans and people on his livestream were not there. He went to face the reality alone,” he said.
Peller described the livestreamer as “calm and humble” after being remanded.
He also warned creators against disrespecting law enforcement, saying online support disappears once legal trouble starts.
“Na you and policemen una go dey. You are not a celebrity; you are an idiot. Respect police. Everybody go help you gather mouth online, na only you go suffer am,” he added.
Newscarte reported that DJ Chicken was arraigned on Friday before a magistrate’s court and remanded over alleged threats to kill Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu.
The charges followed a video posted last week in which he said Tinubu would not win in 2027.
In the now-deleted clip, he threatened in Yorùbá: “Tinubu you cannot win. If you enter, I will kill Seyi Tinubu. I will not say more than that”.
Peller himself was recently arrested on 2 July along the Coastal Road in Lekki.
He was arraigned in Lagos on three counts of resisting police officers and breaching public peace, and spent four days in police custody.
