Grace Nation: “Aggrieved Spirits Are So Powerful, Can Move From Generations To Generations If Not Checked” – Dr. Chris Okafor
...Says if your mouth is unclean you cannot see God's help

The Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, The Generational Prophet, Dr. Chris Okafor, has warned that aggrieved spirits are powerful forces that can move from one generation to another if not properly dealt with.
Dr. Okafor stated this during the Grace Nation Midyear Thanksgiving Service held at the church’s Ogombo Branch, Lagos Island.
Teaching on the subject “Dealing With Aggrieved Spirits”, the man of God said many people are suffering in life not because the devil is more powerful, but because of ignorance of spiritual principles.
“So many people are suffering in life not because the devil is powerful but because of ignorance,” he said. “If you understand the principles and legality of altars, it will be very easy. Evil aggrieved spirits working through aggrieved altars will not have power or say over your life.”
The Power of Aggrieved Spirits
Dr. Okafor explained that an aggrieved spirit is an angry spirit working on unresolved issues. When left unchecked, it sponsors problems, battles and afflictions across generations.
“Generations are going through serious problems without solution because an aggrieved spirit is sponsoring their ordeals,” the Generational Prophet said. “An angry spirit works on unresolved issues, thereby making things worse. The consequence is delay, limitation, and repeated patterns of hardship.”
He noted that these spirits gain legal ground through ancestral covenants, bloodshed, curses, and unclean living. Once established, they move from parents to children, causing similar problems in the family line.
Clean Mouth, Clean Life
The Generational Prophet further taught that personal conduct also determines how far a believer can go with God.
“If your mouth is unclean, you cannot see God’s help,” he declared. “Your mouth is an altar. What you speak daily either invites God’s help or invites the enemy. Stop cursing, complaining and speaking negativity against yourself.”
He charged members to guard their words, live in holiness, and engage in deliberate prayers to break every ancestral yoke and close every evil altar speaking against their destiny.
“When you deal with the altar, you silence the voice of aggrieved spirits. When you sanctify your mouth, you open the door for God’s help,” he said.
Midyear Thanksgiving and Testimonies
The service was also a season of thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness in the first half of the year.
The atmosphere was charged as worshippers gave thanks for protection, healing, provision, and promotion.
Several testimonies were shared. One woman testified of deliverance from 14 years of barrenness, while another shared how God settled her debt after prayers at PHDS. Others testified of job breakthroughs, healing from chronic sicknesses, and restoration of marriages.
Dr. Okafor led the congregation in prophetic prayers of thanksgiving and declarations for the second half of the year. He prayed for open doors, divine acceleration, and total deliverance from every generational curse.
He concluded by urging believers to build a personal altar of prayer and thanksgiving, stressing that gratitude provokes God’s presence and shuts the mouth of the enemy.
The Grace Nation Midyear Thanksgiving Service ended with thanksgiving offerings, prayers for families, and blessings for members across all branches worldwide.
