Group of Intn’l Writers, Authors To Launch book in celebration of Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s achievements 

A group of international writers and authors, under the aegis of BOS Votaries, is set to launch a book titled Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu: The Streetwise Governor. 

The book, according to the authors, is written to preserve the legacies of Governor Sanwo-Olu and also appreciate his strategic leadership. It will be launched upon his approval. 

The group’s head honcho, Ms. Modupe Olukemi Tokan added that “the book serves as a means to enlighten and sensitize Lagosians on the imperativeness of Mr Sanwo-Olu’s re-election as Executive Governor of Lagos State in 2023.

She said: “We are motivated by his exemplary performance, most especially his leadership in socio-economic and political crises management (i.e. Covid 19,  Emergency Responses, Value for Education, Concern for the Grassroot,  APC Primaries, etc.) in Lagos and Nigeria. 

“His experiences, laurels and street smartness are worth documented, not only as our Group’s campaign tool for his re-election as Executive Governor of Lagos State in 2023 but also, for posterity to leverage as the next generations of leaders and administrators. 

“We plan to publish and produce at least 250,000 hardcopies initially in three major languages (Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa), with a well-targeted and integrated state-wide distribution network (i.e. door-to-door, education institutions, government and corporate establishments, ebook for social media platforms and influencers, etc.), while we also plan to produce audio books that will inevitably require a life documentary of His Excellency.”

Apart from the book, the group also plans to present a honorary award to the Governor and encourage him not to relent on his oars. 

The Group consists well-rooted community oriented supporters and multi-disciplinarians with global mindset who are deeply interested in the re-election of Mr Sanwo-Olu as the Executive Governor of Lagos State in 2023. 

The members, who are international Writers and Authors, are said to have pulled their intellectual resources together to write and launch the book. 

Members of the group include Modupe Olukemi Tokan, Dr. Habeeb Adekunle Quadri, Monsuru Saka, Esther E.  Okoye, Adeola Adeniran, Oluyemi Onayinka, Ese Odebala and Percy Owaiye among others.
