Maureen Okpoko Appeals For Help Amid Blindness
Nollywood actress Maureen Okpoko has revealed she has been living with vision impairment for the last four years.
In a video shared online, Okpoko made an emotional appeal to the public, asking for support as she continues to battle the condition.
She called on bloggers, fellow actors, friends, and well-wishers to assist her. According to her, she requires financial aid to fund further medical treatment.

“I have been visually challenged for four years. Please, I am seeking your financial assistance for further medical intervention. Tunde Ednut, VDM, bloggers, colleagues and friends, please come to my aid,” she said.
The actress also requested prayers and encouragement from fans.
“Your prayers, contributions and words of encouragement will be highly appreciated,” she added.
Her plea followed an appeal by veteran actor and musician Harry B. Anyanwu. In a separate video, Anyanwu urged Nollywood stakeholders and the public to rally around Okpoko.
Anyanwu, who said he was with her in Enugu, described Okpoko as a beloved colleague. He asked for donations and support to help her access treatment and hopefully regain her sight.
