Nicki Minaj Says Industry Rules Create “Spiritual Warfare”

Famous rapper Nicki Minaj has accused powerful figures in the music industry of deliberately making talented artists “almost invisible” if they refuse to play by their rules.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford podcast, Minaj claimed most of the challenges she and other artistes face were “orchestrated” by those unnamed power brokers.

She alleged that the figures treat musicians like “properties” created solely to make money for them, and “sabotage those who don’t work for them.”

The rapper emphasized that, she has endured “constant spiritual warfare” for refusing to comply, adding that if she had known how “spiritual” the industry was, she would have been better prepared.

“It was constant spiritual warfare. I wish I kind of knew sooner that this music industry was such a spiritual experience because I felt like I brought a knife to a gunfight,” she said.
