Odumodublvck Clashes With Police Over Arrest

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck had a confrontation with police officers at an event yesterday morning and insisting that it is unlawful for them to arrest him at the location.
A video making rounds online captured an officer questioning the rapper about resisting arrest. The officer said an invitation has already been issued to him.
“Invitation was sent to you, it’s okay. What I want to ask you now, are you resisting an arrest? If you’re not resisting an arrest, tell me why you are not following the police?” the officer was heard saying.

Odumodublvck replied that his legal team has already dealt with the issue and challenged the officers’ authority to act at the venue.
“You don’t have any jurisdiction, that’s what you want to do. Don’t tell me to wait,” he fired back.
The rapper further alleged that police has earlier visited his residence and told residents not to alert him. He said he then reached out to his lawyers.
“My lawyers came to your office, I am not resisting arrest, it was attended to,” Odumodublvck stated.
He also claimed a court order prevented him from being taken away from the event.
Odumodublvck accused the officers of attempting to silence him from speaking publicly about the case.
“It is illegal to take me from here, my brother. You’re telling me not to tweet, not to speak,” he said.
