Police Arrest DJ Chicken Over Seyi Tinubu Threat

Nigeria Police Force has arrested controversial DJ, DJ Chicken, for allegedly threatening the life of President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu.

It was gathered that the DJ posted a video online two days ago saying the president would not win re-election in 2027 and threatened to kill Seyi Tinubu if President Tinubu won.

Rumors of DJ Chicken’s arrest began circulating on social media two days after the video went viral.

During a livestream on Thursday night, content creator Tunde Perry confirmed the arrest.

“DJ Chicken did a video that Tinubu can’t win the next election. Knowing fully well that Tinubu is the only Yoruba man contesting for the next presidential election in 2027. And said even if Tinubu wins, he will kill Seyi Tinubu. The president and his son are not responsible for his arrest but those close to the presidency did,” Perry said.

Meanwhile as of time of filing this report, the police have not released an official statement on the arrest.
