VDM Warns Nigerians Against Picking Sides In Okoye Feud

Prominent Controversial social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, VDM, has urged Nigerians not to take sides in the ongoing rift between music star Peter Okoye and his elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Speaking during a live session shared online, VDM said emotions are driving public opinion and preventing objectivity in the dispute.

“Nigerians are so emotional. This is why Mohbad will never get justice. Everybody is supporting Peter, but they have yet to hear from Paul and Jude.”

He argued that rushing to back one party without hearing from others was part of the reason justice has been delayed in other cases.

VDM also stressed that conclusions should not be drawn until all involved parties speak.

“Public opinion should not be formed based on one side of a story. Wait until all those involved speak before reaching conclusions, he emphasized.

Meanwhile his comments have since drawn mixed reactions online. While some users agreed that everyone deserves a fair hearing, others maintained that Peter’s claims should not be dismissed.

VDM’s remarks also come amid renewed interest in the long-running Okoye family rift, following the release of Mr P Part 8 of his Unveiling series.
