Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has debunked reports claiming she is dead.

The rumours, which spread online over the weekend, alleged that the actress has passed on. The news caused concern among her fans and colleagues.

Kadiri addressed the false reports on Sunday through her Instagram page, assuring followers that she is alive and well.

“Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe. I am alive and healthy,” she wrote.

The actress therefore urged her fans not to believe or share unverified information about her, while also admonished them to report social media pages responsible for spreading the fake news.
