Real Oviedo Partner Ajuwa FC, Appoints Etemike As General Manager

Ajuwa Football club, a non-league Lagos based football club, who has established a football management and development deal with top Spanish side Real Oviedo, has announced the appointment of experienced grassroots football administrator, Kelvin Etemike, as its new General Manager.
While announcing the appointment from his Spain base, the Chairman of Ajuwa FC, Bina Ajuwa, urged the new General Manager to bring his wealth of experience in football administration to bear on his new assignment, by improving the club’s fortunes and taking them to the next level in no distant time.
Ajuwa, a former Nigeria international player, who expressed confidence in the ability of Etemike to bring glory to the club in view of his antecedents in football administration, also tasked him to do an extensive restructuring and scout for new players, who will fit into the club’s philosophy and plans.
In his acceptance message, Etemike, whose late father was a pioneer coach of the then Green Eagles, is presently a scouting representative of OPS of Finland, Sporting Director of Tristone FC, and the Technical Director of the Football Association at Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Football Association in Lagos State, thanked the Chairman of the club for the appointment , and promised to bring his wealth of experience to bear, in the discharge of his new duties .
Speaking on the appointment of Etemike, the club’s team manager, Brodericks Yinkore, expressed his confidence in the abilities of the new General Manager, to help rejig and take the fortunes of the club to higher heights. Also excited with the appointment was the assistant coach of the club, Idowu Akinbote, who enthused confidently that Etemike has the experience, administrative and technical savvy to help the club achieve its goals.
It would be recalled this year 2023, over 10 Ajuwa FC players have moved out of the country to Spain, with some being loaned out by Real Oviedo.
