Top Nollywood Director Dimbo Atiya Dies Thursday

Veteran Nollywood director Dimbo Atiya has died.

He reportedly passed away yesterday morning.

The news was publicized on instagram by Seun Oloketuyi, founder of the Best of Nollywood Awards, BON.

“Dimba Atiya is dead. The top Nollywood director passed on this morning. Details later,” he wrote.

Actor Mofe Duncan also mourned the late filmmaker on Instagram, sharing Atiya’s photo.

“God no, not Dimbo. I’m devastated. One of the greatest minds of the entertainment industry,” he wrote.

It was gathered that the cause of Dimbo’s death remains unknown at the time of this report.
