UNIBEN Undergraduate Strangled to death In Hotel Room

A University of Benin undergraduate, Miss Chinenye Promise Nwoye has been strangled to death. The incident took place on 27 August, 2020 inside room 057 of Akuu Hotel, Abagana, Anambra State.

Two suspects, (a pregnant woman and a young man) have been arrested in connection to her death by the state police command, while a staff of the hotel also suspected to have played some dirty roles in the barbaric act has since been released by the police.

Meanwhile, the State Police Command PPRO, Haruna Mohammed when contacted said such news is yet to get him probably because he is very busy in the ongoing police recruitment exercise.
