Asake Takes ‘M$NEY’ Album on Global Live Run

Popular Afrobeats singer Ahmed Ololade, known professionally as Asake, is turning his fourth studio album M$NEY into a worldwide live showcase.
The 31-year-old artist recently followed his acclaimed show at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane with a headline performance at Christian Louboutin’s menswear presentation during Paris Fashion Week this week, performing selections from the album for guests.
That Paris outing came days after Asake’s one-night-only London concert on Sunday, June 21.

Organized with Spotify, the invitation-only event gathered the singer’s top streamers for the first live performance of M$NEY since its May release.
Backed by a live orchestra and popular band The Compozers, Asake’s set included well-known tracks from the album as well as four previously unreleased songs.
Riding on the success of the London show, Asake has unveiled M$NEY: The Live Album, a special recording that preserves the atmosphere and musicianship of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane performance.
According to his team, M$NEY is a bold exploration of gratitude, prosperity, spirituality, and ambition, underpinned by Asake’s distinct mix of melodic creativity and Afrobeats grooves.
Upon release, M$NEY led streaming charts in over 19 countries, including Nigeria, and climbed to No. 8 in the United States. The album’s impact helped Asake secure the No. 15 spot on Kworb Data’s global digital artists ranking, alongside major international acts.
