Bloody Civilian Says Marriage Not In Plans Yet
Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer, Emoseh Khamofu, better known as Bloody Civilian, has revealed that her music career has changed how she sees life and the values she grew up with.
She stated this on a recent episode of the Not Just On podcast, the 26-year-old artiste disclosed that some traditional expectations her Northern family has for women no longer appeal to her.
Contrary to her family’s wishes, she said she has no plans to get married yet.

According to her, the subject keeps coming up at home, but they don’t understand it’s not something she looks forward to.
Speaking further, Bloody Civilian explained that being an artiste reshaped her worldview and how she views the environment and family values she was raised with.
“One thing my family still does not understand about being an artiste is that certain conventional things they expect of a woman from the North are simply not things I am excited to do,” she concluded.
