‎Discipleship: ‘God Cherishes Anything Useful and Fruitful To Him’ – Dr. Chris Okafor

‎Winning souls and living a covenant life are non-negotiable channels for experiencing God’s fruitfulness, the Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr. Chris Okafor, has declared.

‎Dr Okafor made this known during Grace Nation International Partnership Sunday held at the international headquarters of the church in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos, on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The service brought together partners, members, and first-timers who gathered to honor God and receive direction for the second half of the year.

‎Teaching on the theme “Discipleship as a Channel to Partner with God,” Dr. Okafor explained that God is intentional about rewarding commitment, consistency, and usefulness in His vineyard.

‎“When God sees your commitment and your covenant practice, He goes out of His way to do all your wishes,” he said. “God cherishes anything that is useful and fruitful to Him. If you cannot glorify God, you cannot enjoy His fruitfulness. But when you glorify God, He goes out with full force to make you fruitful.”

‎The Lagos-based clergyman emphasized that true discipleship cannot be complete without soul-winning.

‎According to him, a believer’s assignment in God’s Kingdom is incomplete until lives are brought into the Kingdom.

‎“Your discipleship cannot be complete in the vineyard when you do not win souls into the Kingdom of God,” he noted. “Soul-winning is the heartbeat of God. When you are committed to bringing people to Christ, heaven takes note and backs you up with fruitfulness in every area of your life.”

‎Dr. Okafor further taught that covenant practice gives believers a spiritual edge. He explained that covenant is what distinguishes a child of God and positions them for divine preference, open doors, and supernatural supply.

‎“Your covenant practice gives you an edge and makes you more fruitful,” he said. “Covenant people don’t beg. Covenant people don’t struggle. When you are in covenant with God, He fights your battles and settles you on every side.”

‎He charged Grace Nation partners to remain steadfast in giving, service, and kingdom advancement, stressing that Partnership Sunday is a reminder that God does not forget the labour of love of His people.

‎The Generational Prophet led a special prayer for partners, decreeing financial breakthroughs, promotion, business expansion, marital fruitfulness, and divine health upon them. He prophesied that the second half of 2026 would be marked by testimonies for all who are committed to God’s work.

‎“From today, your labour will not be in vain,” he declared. “God will turn your little to much. He will make you a reference point, and your life will become a testimony that will glorify His name.”

‎The service featured worship, thanksgiving, and testimonies from members who shared how God had turned their situations around through their partnership with Grace Nation.

‎Dr. Okafor concluded by urging believers to remain disciples indeed by living for Christ, winning souls, and serving God with all their hearts, saying that is the sure path to lasting fruitfulness.
