The Shepherd-in-Charge of Freedom For All Nations Outreach, Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse has charged all believers across the world to stick to the promises of God despite the unfavourable overwhelming circumstances surrounding them.
The popular clergyman gave the charge at the headquarters of his ministry in South Africa today while ministering on removing the stones. Taking his charge to believers across the globe from John 11:35, he used the case of Lazarus to buttress his revelation.
He said when Lazarus was sick, his family sent emissaries to Jesus that his friend was sick. Jesus told them his sickness was not unto death. However, the reverse was the case as Lazarus died. He said that’s the plight of many Christians as they give up on God because their situations contradict the promises of God.
He revealed that God sent him to charge believers not to give up nor dwell on their problems but fix their gaze on the problem solver which is God.
He said God’s ways differ from ours as He is faithful to his promises. Just as he raised Lazarus back to life, God is still in the business of turning things around.
However, he charged believers to roll away every stumbling blocks hindering God from answering their prayers. According to him, Jesus was angry at the tomb of Lazarus when he saw them putting a stone at his tomb which signifies their conclusion that God is unable to perform what he has promised.
“For God to intervene and perform his promises, please roll away the stones you have placed on the altar of your manifestations. Stones to roll away are sin, doubt, unbelief, selfishness amongst others.”
“God has heard many of us but the stumbling blocks are the stones we placed on the tomb of life.”
He concluded that for God to do what he promised, we have to take our minds off failure, take a risk and while taking the risk, we should do it with God and inside God.
