Femi Adebayo Mourns Yoruba Cinema Icon Ogogo
Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has paid tribute to veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, describing him as a pillar of Yoruba cinema.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Femi reflected on Ogogo’s years in the Nigerian film industry and the lasting impact of his work.
He described the late actor as someone whose contributions to Yoruba cinema would continue to be remembered by generations of actors, filmmakers and movie lovers.

“You were a true pillar of Yoruba cinema, and your impact will live on in generations to come,” Femi stated.
The actor also expressed gratitude for the memories, stories and lessons Ogogo left behind through his career and dedication to the craft.
Femi emphasized that Ogogo’s work helped many people fall in love with Yoruba cinema, and described him as a figure whose legacy would endure beyond his time.
“Thank you for the years, the stories, the lessons and the moments that made us fall in love with the craft,” he added.
