“Overrated And Overhyped”: Gov Aide Slams Peller, Jarvis’ Wedding
Delta State Governor Aide, Ossai Ovie Success, has faulted the white wedding of TikToker Peller and his wife Jarvis, describing it as “overrated and overhyped.”
This was disclosed in a statement shared on his official X handle (formally twitter) today, Ossai said he followed the event closely and left disappointed despite receiving an invitation, noting that other engagements stopped him from attending in person.
“I’ve been following up on the Peller and Jarvis wedding and I must confess, I am disappointed. Though I was invited but couldn’t make it due to other engagements, the wedding did not meet my expectations,” he stated.

The governor’s aide said the build-up to the wedding created expectations that were not met on the day.
“There was too much noise ahead of the wedding and, after getting my invitation, I was hoping it would be a classic. But my hope was dashed. The whole arrangement was underwhelming,” he added.
According to him, the decor, setup, and overall vibe seen online looked like a “regular influencer wedding” instead of the “historic classic” that was promoted.
“From what was shown online, the decor, setup, and overall vibe looked like a regular influencer wedding, not the ‘historic classic’ we were sold. When you promise cinema and deliver YouTube vlog, people will be disappointed,” Ossai lamented.
Newscarte reported that, Peller and Jarvis held their white wedding in Lagos, yesterday, the ceremony came days after their traditional rites in Benin City and civil wedding in Lagos on July 29.
Meanwhile, the event drew several celebrities, influencers and content creators, with Fuji musician Sule Alao Malaika listed among the performers.
