Phyna Alleges Lagos Rich Men Target BBN Girls Yearly
Prominent Nigerian actress, model and Reality star, Phyna has claimed that some wealthy men in Lagos specifically wait for each new Big Brother Naija season to pick a new girlfriend, saying that is why many Big Brother Naija girls appear to be doing better than the men.
This was disclosed in a short video clip circulating online, Phyna said there is a particular circle of rich men she knows who only date BBN housemates.
“Even the rich men in Lagos are not making it easy for BBN girls. I know a set of rich men. The only girls they deal with are BBN girls. They wait for the new season to pick their new girlfriend for the next one year, you understand?” she lamented.

According to her, this trend explains why female ex-housemates often seem to progress faster after the show.
“That’s why when you notice that the girls are doing better than the boys, that doesn’t mean the boys are not working. All BBN boys are working fucking hard. In fact, life is so hard on them because they don’t know how it’s going,” Phyna added.
Meanwhile, her comments have sparked conversation online about the opportunities, pressure, and dynamics BBN stars face after leaving the house, with many weighing in on the support systems available to male versus female housemates.
