Prison returnee stabs man to death in Lagos

A middle aged man identified as David Dome, who recently returned from Kirikiri Prison for rape has stabbed one Mr Lekan Oladipupo to death.

According to our investigation, David Dome a.k.a Wobu kicked the dog owned by one Olamide (not real name) and when the Olamide complained he slapped her and when Olamide’s husband, who witnessed the whole incident, beat up David Dome, he ran home and came back with a knife which he used to stab Lekan Oladipupo to death.

When contacted, the Divisional Police Officer DPO in charge of Oko-Oba Police Station, Chief Superintendent of Police CSP Sulaimon directed our reporter to the Lagos State Police Image Maker for information about the case but added that investigation is ongoing as the suspect is at large.

“We have sent sitrep to the State Command. Call the PPRO for more information,” he said.
