Sabinus Slams Leaders Over Ongoing Schoolchildren Kidnapping Crisis

Popular skit maker Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, known as Sabinus, has criticized Nigerian leaders over their handling of the country’s insecurity, saying he feels ashamed.
Speaking amid reports of schoolchildren still held by kidnappers, Sabinus expressed frustration at what he described as government incompetence.
“Up till now, the kidnapped schoolchildren are still being held in the bush,” he said.

The comedian said the situation has left him embarrassed about his nationality.
“Most times, I feel ashamed to even say I’m a Nigerian because the leaders that are supposed to protect us are incompetent,” Sabinus stated.
Meanwhile, his comments came as families of abducted students continue to await the safe return of their children.
Sabinus joins an increasing list of public figures calling for urgent action from authorities to address kidnapping and insecurity affecting the country.
