“I Smoked 2 Packs Everyday”: Ebuka Shares Journey To Quitting Cigarette

Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has revealed his battle with cigarette for 13 years and how he eventually curbed it.

This was disclosed on a recent episode of the “MENtality” podcast featuring popular singer, Banky W and influencer Aproko Doctor.

Ebuka pointed out that he started smoking in Junior Secondary School, JSS3, adding that by the time he got to university, he was smoking two packs of cigarette a day.

“I started smoking in JSS3. I smoked for 13 years. By the time I entered university, I was smoking two packs a day. I was a heavy smoker,” he reflected.

Furthermore, he said he was only able to quit after making a deliberate decision to break the habit.

Also speaking, popular singer Banky W, revealed that he developed a pornography addiction while trying to curb promiscuity, believing it would help him stay disciplined.

“I was trying to battle pornography and decided that instead of moving from woman to woman, I should just be watching pornography,” he stated.

The three personalities therefore agreed that self-regulation and self-discovery is crucial in overcoming harmful habits.
