Trump May Pardon Diddy Despite Past Refusal
United State President Donald Trump is weighing clemency for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in the coming days, CBS News reports.
It was gathered that, Trump is expected to pardon several people convicted of emissions and clean-air offences. The report also said he is also considering acts of clemency for Diddy and other high-profile figures.
He was scheduled to meet advisers to review pardon recommendations before deciding, but as of press time of filing this report, the White House has not confirmed a pardon for Combs.

In January, Trump refused to grant Diddy a presidential pardon after the rapper’s legal team requested clemency.
Combs stood trial in 2025 over claims he abused and coerced three alleged victims, including ex-partner Cassie Ventura. He faced charges of kidnapping, arson, and blackmail.
In July 2025, a New York jury gave a split verdict. He was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
The Bad Boy Records founder also faces multiple civil suits accusing him of sexually abusing 120 women and men, including a 9-year-old boy.
Combs was arrested in Manhattan on September 16, 2024, after an indictment by federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York.
Another person reportedly seeking a presidential pardon is Prakazrel “Pras” Michel of The Fugees. The Grammy-winning rapper is serving 14 years after being convicted of conspiring with Malaysian financier Jho Low to run foreign lobbying campaigns aimed at influencing the US government across two administrations.
