Wizkid Declares Himself Best At Afronation Portugal
Grammy-winning Nigerian star Wizkid has reignited a supremacy clash with fellow artist Burna Boy, hinting that he was picked to headline the final night of Afronation in Portugal ahead of Burna Boy’s opening-day slot because he is “the best.”
It was gathered that, Burna Boy’s supporters have been celebrating online over his appearance on Afronation Portugal’s first day, arguing that organisers tapped him as the opening headliner since he carries more star power than Wizkid and the rest of the festival lineup.
Wizkid appeared to address the chatter during his Sunday set at the festival.

The Starboy frontman claimed his closing performance slot, following Burna Boy and others, was proof of his status.
“Big Wiz is here. This is why you save the best for the last, baby,” he said.
The comment quickly spread across social media, with fans reading it as a direct reply to the ongoing argument about his and Burna Boy’s placement on the show lineup.
Meanwhile, It’s worth noting that Wizkid and Burna had a falling out months ago after the latter confronted Wizkid’s official DJ, DJ Tunez, at a Lagos nightclub.
